Arisun, Chinatown

Located at the end of the main street in Chinatown is Arisun. I've never really fancied Korean Fried chicken but when my friends introduced me to it, it was like, WOW.  I was in a whole new world. Arisun  is probably most famous for it's fried chicken so when I went there the other day, I couldn't help but order 3 types of fried chicken.
Fried Chicken in Soy sauce, $30
The first dish that arrives at our table is the Fried Chicken in Soy sauce. That's definitely not the actual name of the dish but it is something along those lines... my memory has failed me terribly here. The chicken is still sizzling hot as it arrives. There is a pile of sauce lying under the pile of chicken, showing just how much they used to marinate the chicken. This is probably my favourite of all of Arisun's fried chicken because it has the most unique flavour to it that you can't get anywhere else.

Spicy Fried Chicken- $30
The next chicken dish that arrives is the Spicy Fried Chicken. It's a lot redder in real life but my camera just couldn't catch the colour perfectly. The sauce from the spicy fried chicken is reminiscent of dubboki  sauce, or is that just chilli paste...? Anyhow, I love this dish as well because there just enough spiciness to get you coughing but not enough for you to need to drink a whole cartoon of milk. Just the right amount of spiciness. WARNING: if you're not  good with your chillies and spices, do not order this dish, I repeat do not order this dish! My friends died when eating this LOL.
Original Fried Chicken- $30
And last on the menu is the Original Fried Chicken. After the large hit of flavours I had been experiencing from the other 2 plates of chicken, this tastes bland in comparison. Average in comparison to all the other dishes, however still special in it's own way. There's a lot of crunch on the chicken skin which is always a plus.

Arisun is a great place to go if you are in a large group because not only is it cheaper but you also get to try a variety of things. The day that I went I only ended up paying $15 which is such a bargain considering how full I was afterwards. The serving sizes are on the larger size and the service is friendly. I really enjoy Arisun and highly recommend it for get togethers with friends.
